U.K. Foreign Office Minister turns down Buenos Aires invitation

On 8 June 2012, U.K. Foreign Office Minister Jeremy Browne declined an invitation to visit Buenos Aires and discuss the issue of the Islas Malvinas, or Falkland Islands. He has planned a visit to the islands to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the end of the war between the U.K. and Argentina, and stated that his schedule was already full and he could not meet with the Argentine Foreign Ministry.
